Senior Centers

SENIOR Solutions has Senior Centers in Anderson, Seneca, and Walhalla. Each center offer local seniors a place to exercise, play games, and stay active in their community. We have a regularly-scheduled slate of exercise classes, including Silver Sneakers and yoga, as well as fully-stocked fitness centers with cardio and weight equipment that allow members to workout whenever they choose. In addition, our centers serve as a place where seniors can socialize with others through social events such fashion shows, holiday parties, monthly potlucks, and other activities. 

The Marketplace Cinema Senior Center features a grand ballroom with hardwood floors and a beautiful chandelier, which is available for parties, wedding receptions, family reunions, and more. The senior center also houses a fitness center, computer lab, and a library. The center also has lots of hallway space that many seniors use as an indoor walking track. 

Our Oconee Senior Center in Seneca is housed in the historic Oconee County Training School. In 1915, Sears and Roebuck President, Julius Rosenwald, established a matching grant fund to construct better quality Black schools across the South. Rosenwald's Fund assisted in the construction of over 5,000 school buildings- one of which still serves the community today as our Senior Center! The Oconee Senior Center offers a full slate of exercise classes, a fitness center for individual workouts, scheduled activities & games, and an indoor walking track.
