Meals 

We think there are a few details that set us apart from similar meal delivery programs. First, all our meals are cooked, prepared, and packaged in our kitchen right here in Anderson, SC. Our meals are created by our in-house cook and approved by a certified nutritionist, so they will always taste great and give you the nutrients you need.

Then, we deliver our own meals! Our dedicated drivers & volunteers have each passed a background check, are certified to handle food, and - above all - they care about the individuals they deliver food to. Our frequent deliveries provide much-needed friendly visits and safety checks for isolated seniors who otherwise would feel unsafe living alone.

If you qualify, your meals can be paid for by Medicaid or other funding programs. That means our meals may not cost you anything out of pocket! Call our office (1-888-516-4788) to find out if you are covered.

If you are paying privately, our meals cost $8 each if we deliver them to you or $6 each if you want to pick them up yourself from either our Seneca or Anderson office. When you purchase our meals directly, $2 from the price of each meal is donated to Meals on Wheels Upstate South Carolina to help feed hungry seniors who cannot pay themselves and do not have any insurance to cover their meals.

Yes! We have a menu of more than 70 different meals. If you receive frozen meals, you may change your order weekly and fill it with any combination of items from our menu. Please note that we are only able to change your order if you call to place it no later than ONE WEEK in advance of your next delivery date.

Daily hot meal recipients have the option of choosing between 2 different meals offered each day. Hot meal menus are sent out quarterly for recipients to make their selections in advance.

Not a senior? No worries! Anyone who lives within our expansive delivery area may receive meals from us.

Nope, our meals don’t require any fancy preparation! Simply follow the instructions printed on each meal: do not remove protective film & microwave for 5-6 minutes or preheat conventional oven to 300° and bake for 30 minutes on a cookie sheet.
